Hi,
I have a semi-colon seperated file I need to load to oracle using sql loader. It contains a header line which contains date and time. I want to include this time value as a column for each row that is loaded subsequently after the header file. Any ideas how to do this.

Example:
20080106;1200280801;400;Motorola
;;;;;;;;001500083026430;;;I325;R1A.01.08;364YHY8ZP1;29493679;;;;;;;;;;
;;;;;;;;001500083061430;;;I325;R1A.01.08;364YHY8ZN8;61951819;;;;;;;;;;
;;;;;;;;001500082922430;;;I325;R1A.01.08;364YHY8ZLL;24978001;;;;;;;;;;

I want to include the top first field "20080106" as a column-field when it loads all the other rows to identify the record belonging to that date.

Thanks,
Noorul

Take a look at this recent thread; perhaps you'll get an idea.
