Hi,

I have a large database(production)DB1 on one of the server and I need to export the whole database DB1 to another database DB2 on another production server. Both are in the mutimaster replication environment. Can anyone suggest me how to export the database Db1 and import to DB2.

Note: both are installed on 2 different Servers

Urgent Please.

I'm not familiar with the "mutimaster replication environment", but both full export and import are quite straightforward.

This is the Utilities 10g book; you haven't mentioned your database version so - if necessary, search for another document at http://tahiti.oracle.com.

If possible, use Datapump. If not, check chapter 19: Original Export and Import.
