Position: Oracle Applications DBA with 11i /12 experience
Location: Between Ann Arbor Michigan and Toledo Ohio
Salary/Wage:95,000.00 - 105,000.00 /year Full Time, Employee

*Description:
Oracle Applications DBA will be responsible for implementing many concurrent instances of ORACLE EBS 12, Fusion Middleware and ORACLE database 10g.
Responsibility includes creating high availability environment using ORACLE Real Application Clustering, Data Guard, 10g Grid, RMAN,
Flashback Query, ASM, OEM, Diagnostics, Tuning, Configuration and Provisioning Pack.
Applications DBA Will analyze and implement the physical database design and structure, ensure enterprise database environments are
in optimal condition, manage production databases in Client environments, and support complex problem-solving challenges.
Other duties include creating and reviewing physical data models, coordinating data security and actively supporting test plans/environments,
benchmarks and statistics.
*Responsibilities:
1)Manages the production databases in Client environments. Ensures the recoverability of all production data for operational and business
continuation needs.
2)Under limited supervision executes the responsibilities of the job and ensures that commitments and deliverables are met.
3)Assists in the resolution of complex problems in support of production. This will include on-call support.
4)Provides performance and tuning. Improves the quality and reduces defects in all database environments.
5)Creates, develops, and reviews the physical data model created from the logical data model. Creates and implements the physical database design and
structures.
6)Ensures that the detailed physical design of data structures and databases comply with data policies, standards, principles and meets
the established level of service goals for the system.
7)Actively participates in supporting test plans, test environments, benchmarks and statistics.
8)Coordinates with data security to provide appropriate security and secondary authorization.
9)Assist with the development of the technical architectures. Ensures the database management systems and tools support the defined architectures
and business needs.
10)Participates in the testing, evaluation, implementation, and training of DBMS and related software products.
11)Plan, coordinate, and implement projects or products as required; on-time, within budget, and with quality.
12)Communicates clearly with local and remote users.
13)Maintain solid technical skills in DBMSs, products, utilities, protocols, and techniques.
*Requirements:
-Extensive ORACLE DBA EBS 11i/12 implementation experience is a must.
-Bachelors Degree in a business related area.
-Strong management and coordination skills (people and project).
-Good relationship builder (i.e. cooperative approach)
-Proven experience in complex ERP environment.
