Does anyone know what the sql*net connect string should be for connecting to an oracle db on line using ms visual foxpro or access. Oracle and the web are new to me and so far I have not found much information about defining the connect string
Thanks.

You haven't mentioned about your ORACLE SERVER. If
it is on Unix OS , then your connect string after
giving username and password is:

t:TCP/IP:SID

where TCP/IP is the address of your machine and SID is Your oracle database name to which you want to connect.
