I want to access remote database through PPP link between two SUN solaris2.6 hosts. I have Net8 installed on client.(Through modem). I established PPP connectivity ( Iam able to Telnet & FTP) and I am getting response to "tnsping" from remote server(as OK). But when I try to login using "sqlplus <USRID>/<PASSWD>@<INSTANCE> the process is just hanging, I can see the TCP packets trasfering between the systems but it takes forever to login.
Please help me, I am unable to understand & resolve the problem. Thank you very much in advance.
