Oracle8 and Windows 2000:

I tried to install Personal Oracle8 on my PC (running windows 2000).
Somehow the installation fails. I get the following message:
stopsrvc.vrf(78): Type mismatch
argument '0'
when calling 'contains'
stopsrvc.vrf(78) 'STRING'expected when 'LIST' found.

I didn't have any problems installing when my PC was running windows 98
in
the past. Any help much appreciated
