I have exported my database from Oracle 734 on my AIX server to NT4 running Oracle 8 and thats all dandy.

The problem now is I dont know how to import this file into oracle 8 and how complicated is this process going to be, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Randine,
normaly you have to run catexp7.sql on the Oracle8. You find it in ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin. After that start import of your dump.
