hi ,

i want to know the method or tool using which i can import the data from flatfile to oracle. I have a
tool which will convert the flat file to xml so if u have any idea about conversion from xml to oracle that will also help me .

Hi Prashant

Yes there is a utility named sql*loader using which you can import a flat file into a database

You can try the information on the web for sql*loader.

You can also open a dos command and type "sqlldr", you'll see all the possible commands for the sql*loader.
