impdp is not using parallelism:

impdp system/****@a directory=dp_t24 dumpfile=t24_20090523_postcob_%U.dmp schemas='T24' remap_schema='T24:T24TEST' REMAP_TABLESPACE=('GLOBUSDATAXML:GLOBUSTESTDATAXML','GLOBUSINDEXXML:GLOBUSTESTINDEXXML')

I exported the data using 8 parallism from IBM P5 server with AIX OS which took 6 hours.
Now, I am importing data in RHEL 4 with 8-cores machine. I set parallism 8, 16. But nmon report suggest only one processor is using at a time ( See attachement). It took 18 hours and only 19 percent is done.

Please give some suggestion.

exports are ALWAYS faster than imports
The data pumps utilities are still young & have bugs.
We must deal with reality as it exists & not as we would like it to be.

In the posted snippet, where have you specified parallelism?
Either you are not telling us the whole story

And which edition of Oracle are you using?
impdp parallelism is supported only in Enterprise Edition.
