Hi All,

I have a query regarding Collective import. We have a crontab job which will take a dump of 7 schemas daily. ( All 7 schemas in a single dump file)

When i try to import the 7th schema in the list, its taking nearly 30 - 40 minutes to initiate the import process. Is it because its the last schema in the list?? Coz I am getting this problem only when i try to import the last schema.

Buy faster disks.
Oracle has to read the entire file to get where the one you're searching for starts.
