Hello i have export my scott schema from my linux system 4.0 64 bit using this


[oracle@localhost bin]$ exp system/oracle file=/Software/ts.dmp log=/Software/ts.log owner=scott


than i have import into my oracle i have install into windows 7 64 bit using this


F:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\BIN>imp system/oracle@tamr file=F:\ts.dmp log=F:\t
s1.log fromuser=scott touser=scott statistics=none

Import: Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production on Fri Sep 7 15:29:36 2012

If you transfert your file in binary mode you should have no problem during import.

YOu can also use Data Pump with the option network_link.
