Dear Experts!

(Oracle 11gR1 OEL 5)Is there any possibility to convert snapshot database (standby) directly to Primary.
Instead of manual switchover I want to do this Laughing

I have checked that snapshot creates a guaranteed restoration point which reverts back changes in Standby

Thanks in advance!

Are you asking if you can activate a snapshot standby? In effect, perform a failover? The docs say that you cannot failover to a snapshot, but you can try. Shut it down immediate, mount, and run
ALTER DATABASE ACTIVATE STANDBY DATABASE;
If that doesn't work (it probably won't) you could try creating a new controlfile with CREATE CONTROLFILE. I should think that would do it.
