kindly post me the link for the step by step procedure to configure standby database

I have followed so many links but still so much confuse in creating stndby redologs, first will be creating stdbyREDO04.log,stdbyREDO05.log,stdbyREDO06.log,in primary and later on we copy the dbf files and control files, onlinelog files redolog files to standby server.

do we need to create stdbyREDO.logs file in standby database as well?

please send the exact steps for dataguard configuration on windows

What links have you been following? Which part of the instructions did you have trouble with?
As for step-by-step inastructions, those in the docs http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14239/toc.htm are pretty clear.
