Hi Oracle gurus,

This is an interview question.

What will happen when DML transaction fails on 1 node.

This is 2 node RAC instance.

Regards,
Balaji

If I were the interviewer, I would ask you:

What do you think will happen? Why do you think that? Any other possibilities? How would you test, to find out if you are correct?

OK, let us try to work on your problem solving skills. Begin by simplifying the problem: forget the RAC. In a single instance database, what happens if a transaction fails on the one node?
