I just installed Oracle 8.1i on W2K machine, but can not start OMS service.
I found this error in oms.nohup file:

The Management Server uses the Repository Login
Information (respository user schema) that is created
when you are assigning the owner of the repository
during database respository creation on server1.
If you now want to setup an additional OMS on server2
to access the db/respository on server1...go to
the OEM Console on server2 > Configuration Assistant>
Edit Configuration Parameters..click 'Next'.
on the following screen enter the exact same
user/pwd/service that is Repository Login Info from
server1....click next...then finish.
When Configuration Assistant is complete...go to
NT Services and make sure Oracle Intelligent Agent
is started then go ahead and restart Oracle Management
Server..it should start with no problems and you
now have 2 OMS connect to server1 repository.
