I want to connect Oracle from VB, is there any way i can do it without installing Oracle Client on Client machine? if yes is that Free? where can i get it?

You need configure the DSN.

SIR,

IN YOUR CLIENT MACHINE,YOU SHOULD ATLEAST INSTALL THE NET80 COMPONENT OF THE ORACLE.THEN ONLY YOU CAN CONNECT THE CLIENT WITH THE SERVER

I found this source from the net. They offer ODBC, JDBC drivers without the need of client app.

No pal, they are not free. but they can do the job alright.
