Hi,
My Oracle Server is running on NT machine. And my applications various pluggin servers are connected with that. But every time the CPU Utilization is nearly 100%. And only Oracle.exe is taking 90% CPU time.Would anybody please help me on that.My SGA Size And memeory structures are perfect. And the CPU Utilization was also normal just 2-3 days back.Worked with all the options. Like rebuilding indexes, checking tablespace space.Cannot able to trace the problem.
Please help me out.

Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Munish

There are many factors for the cause of 100% CPU utilizition.
The most encountered one is due to SMON.
did you check which oracle thread, is creating the probleM?
SMON does the cleanup every 5 minutes or so.
so if there is something happening in DB that makes
SMON unhappy, SMON will take its own time to the COALESCE THE FREE EXTENTS.
so look, how the TEMP tablespaces are utilized etc.
