Hello,
Is it possible to connect to a database bypassing the TNSNames/SQLNet.Ora.
Info : W2K, Oracle 9i, MTS, Initsid.ora has local listener entry with a different port (1234).

In my case, I want to open a database connection to a Server with the above config. I've not made any changes on my local machine(TNSNames/SQLNet). Is it possible to connect to the database?

If so, how do I achieve that.

Thanks,
Yuvarajan JT

Hi.

Do you use JDBC Thin Driver, and how is it?
