When I try to invoke sql loader in the dos prompt by typing

sqlldr username/password control=point.txt

I am getting a message: The name specified is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I made sure i am in the right drive as that of the point.txt file. Can you tell me what the error could be. I would also like to know about loading data from multiple files into a field of a table. Looking forward to hear from you...

is an oracle client installed in the host?
go to $ORACLE_HOME/bin and execute the sqlldr.
and the convention is to name the control file as .ctl
