We have migrated from Ingres to Oracle. However some of our end-users still use Ingres databases. In some cases we have to use the Ingres data in the Oracle database. We use the Ingres copy out and the Oracle SQL loader utility. When viewing the data in Oracle I have lost my CR/LF's that were part of the data in Ingres.
Example: Ingres row: "John Watson.......
Pete Ferguson"
becomes
Oracle row: "John Watson Pete Ferguson"

Since the data is a part of letters to customers it can not be used.

How can I keep the layout that was in the Ingresdata ?
