Hi friendz.

while I am doing a data load to a column (of type number(38,4))

and in the control file I put DECIMAL EXTERNAL fro that field, not a single record with -ve value (example -0.12344567) is getting loaded in to the table.it takes all positive numbers.

Pls idea where I am making the mistake
