yes
you can do that if your using oracle 8i. with QUERY parameter in export utility this is new parameter i oracle 8i
say if you have EMP table then if you wann to export of only those records whose salary is greater 3000
then in export parameter along with other parameter
u can specify like this
query='where sal>3000' but please check out your O/S
this example will work on NT/2000
...
i have applied the aobe process but it gives me error...
i have not the required query..
pls write down the query would it is possible to export some records...
exp nimra/nimra file=e:start.dmp
(from where i can write the query option)...
pls provide full context...
