Hi,

We are running sqlldr to import the data from the flat text file. But sqlldr rejects nay one record 4 outof 7 times. When we lookinto the bad file for the same record it contains different record than recorded in log file. For example log file says 7282 and bad file contains record data from the 7283.

Please advise us a solution

Thanks

Hi ,
Currently sql loader is invoked from the Autosys job and if i run the same job manually it runs successfully.
When we run sqlldr, it runs successfully without any error and no record is rejected.
Please send your suggesstion.
thanks

>>When we run sqlldr, it runs successfully without any error
so sqlldr is working fine... something is wrong with ur autosys. I have no idea about autosys.
>>When we lookinto the bad file for the same record it contains different record
are there any trailing null values?
or usage of a database sequence?
other possibility is ur autosys may be padding up the record with line feeds.
