I formated my disk and installed win2000 server yesterday. Updated to SP4 and downloaded some upgrade programs from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/.

Now when I install Oracle8i, after double click the setup.exe in CDROM, select the install item, nothing happened.

If copy the CD to disk, the same result.

Please help me.

are You using a Pentium 4 processor?

goto AA:installwin32setup.exe

where AA is the location of the uninstall version.
it always works.
