Import failed from 9.2 to 8.1.7 ( URGENT ) [message #120285]

While importing data from 9.2 version to 8.1.7 its getting failed. It gives NLS errors...

please suggest.

Which one are you talking about?

PLEASE always POST the complete error message.
I guess,
your NLS_LANG or characterset is different between source and target.
Set it manually in your environment and do the import.

or

Issue is becuase of the difference in versions.
You trying import from 9i into 8i.
Use the lower version of exp to export.
use the lower version of imp to import.
else
run catexp.sql of 9i installation agains your 8i installation and then run your import.
