Does anybody have experiences with using GFS with Oracle 10gR2 RAC? What other options did you explore? What advantages does GFS present? Currently I am testing 3-node Linux 4.0 update 3 Oracle 10gR2 RAC cluster using ASM for storage management. My OCR and Voting disk are RAW, my EMC SAN disk's are shared/mask'd to all 3 servers and I am using Oracle's ASM for disk management. If I were to use GFS, what would GFS replace in my system, ASM?
