Hi all,

This may be a little strange, but is there a way I can query Oracle for the location of the tnsnames.ora file?? This would be done from a VB application before a connection to the database is made.

by default it will be $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin.
i dont think, there is a view you can query this (from oracle).
