Dear All:
Our database version is 8.1.7 for IBM AIX5L,
we add cpus from 4 processor to 8 processor.
Does any parameter need to modify?

Nothing to do if you didn't hard-code parallelism degree.
Take care that doubling the number of processors does not necessarily means halfing the response time, it can make things worse.

It can make things MUCH worse.
Why are you increasing the number of processors?
Have you identified that you are currently CPU bound?
