Hi all,

I am a newbie to data pump which I believe is a new feature in Oracle 10G. Could you clarify as to what happens if after we take an import of the data on one database and upon exporting to the other database, there is no memory on the target database. What is to be done in this regard?

Thanks.

An instance must exist for which to import the data to. Check Overview of Oracle Data Pump for all the details.

Please use proper terminology.

1. You take an export from a source database, not an import
2. You import to the target database, not export it
3. What does "no memory on target database" mean?
