Good Day,

Could u please clarify my doubt may I know what the difference between merge join and hash join? and also There is the way to find the merge join usage in the query .

Because we have run the same query in different two schema it took lot of time in one schema when compare to another one the only difference is merge join and hash join.

This is not related to sql/plsql section so i moved it to performance tunning.

1. Did you check in documentation about merge join or hash join execution plan ?
go http://tahiti.oracle.com" and search "execution" word .. you will get detail explanation.
