Hi,

I have Oracle R2 RAC, Its working fine. Is it posible to install the Oracle R1 RAC on the Same Servers.

It's possible, but definitely not recommended. Whay do you want to do it anyway?

If you can't avoid it it's possible. We have a RAC mixing 2 versions of Oracle on HP-UX only cause the editor validated its software on 10.1 and not on 10.2. The restriction was only for the database and it gave :
- DB : 10.1
- ASM, CRS : 10.2
No problem, such a configuration (and many other combinations) are validated by Oracle (note 337737.1)
I created a test RAC base using the "ASM" 10.2 home : no problem.
