Hi,

I just started to work with Oracle this week; any pointer is greatly appreciated.

I issued the command below and it seen to go through without any warning that I should worry about but it did not create table nor load any data.

imp trrc/trrc file=rrcdw_pdq_clnr_1.dmp fromuser=OVIEDOE touser=trrc log=trrcdata.log

Again, folks, thanks for any pointer.

Cheers,

Bluzman

import failed, but I am not sure exactly why.
00002, 00000, "failed to open %s for read"
// *Cause: Import failed to open the export file for reading. This message is
// usually followed by a device message from the operating system.
// *Action: Take appropriate action to restore the device.

You must be leaving out something or not reporting accurately because if you give a FILE=rrcdw_pdq_clnr_1.dmp parameter then you would not get an error message about expdat.dmp not being found.
